As if getting into great shape and eating better were not good enough reasons to change your diet. An extra added bonus, during these tough economic times, will be achieved just by eating better. When you begin to become more conscious of what you are putting into your body, you will stop wasting money on junk food and snacks that are not beneficial to your body. That junk food is detrimental to your workout regimen and hinder the achievement of your fitness goals. By becoming a picky eater, you will undoubtedly begin to save money, as you are no longer purchasing and eating the entire box of donuts; or the whole pack of cookies like we once were.
When you start to purchase fruits and healthier foods, you will find that they are better for you than junk food;and they are less expensive= cash for new clothes to go with that new body!
See, changing your diet can take the fat out of your body and help fatten your savings account.

Tip #3: Fast Food is Past Food
Stay away from the fast food restaurants. As you begin to get in better shape, and improve your life, you MUST change your diet and eating habits. If you are like so many people that eat fast food five days a week during your lunch break, "Stop!" Fast food contains preservatives and fat that is counterproductive to your goals of losing weight.
Instead of buying fast food, use that money to purchase groceries and prepare your lunch at home. In other words: Brown Bag It! After just a few weeks of taking your lunch to work, you will begin to feel more energized and not to mention you'll save a few bucks!
Also, stay away from fast food all together. Whether for lunch or dinner. Like I said before, in order get and stay in the best shape of your life, lose weight, and become more healthy, you have to change your mind, change your diet, and get active.

Tip #2: Nothing White!?
That's right. Nothing White! That refers to not eating any white foods. No Rice! No potatoes! No Bread! This also includes brown rice, any type of potatoes, and any type of bread. These are heavily loaded in carbs (carbohydrates). And unless you are seriously working them off, you will continue to pack them on. So if it is white, do eat it.
This can be a diet modification that you should set a goal to try for a month.
Also make sure that if and when you start to improve your health, get a notepad and right down your weight. Log it weekly or biweekly. This will keep you motivated.
