Nutrition

One of the main arguments for taking a multivitamin is that many of us simply don't eat nutritiosly on a cosistent basis. But even if your diet is beyond reproach, there is  another good reason to take vitamins: Vigourous Exercise!

While exercise is absolutely essential to good health, it can also be seen as a stressor capable of producing free radicals-substances that combine with other molecules and potentially damage the body's tissues. Most vitamins contain antioxidants, those vitamins and nutrients that can prevent free radicals from causing damage.

When we work out, we use up many of our body's stored vitamins and nutrients. Taking a multivitamin to replace what's expended during exercise makes logical sense.

So invest in a multivitamin. Many vitamin stores sun specials all of the time on multivitamins. I don't go a day without them.
