Running: Its addictive!!!!!!!!

For any of of you that have made a regime of running to get fit. I am sure that you agree how addictive running can become. Once you start running, you will begin to notice immediately how much your stamina has increased. Running is one exercise that gives you almost instantaneous results.

If you run daily or weekly, you will notice that you can go farther, longer, and harder each and every time that you go out. When you miss a day, you are motivated to put in the extra time to make up for the day that you missed.

One key component to remember while running is that you must maintain appropriate posture, form, and technique. You do not want to be looking as if you are struggling and sloppy. Keep your head and chest up, while also keeping your abs tight. Did I mention that running improves your abs. Yeah, running, along with swimming, is an All Body Workout.

Many people do not like to run due to health or other physical issues that may hinder them from being able to run. If you can not run, try speed walking. Speed walking is also effective. Just make sure you keep the appropriate form.

Whether walking or running, make sure that you remember to keep the proper form. Just as with any other exercise, unless you have the proper form and technique, you are wasting your time and energy. make a conscious effort to use good form when running and when doing other exercises.

I workout four to five days per week. I designate Sunday as my day to go to the beach and get in a good run. Running helps relieve stress and it is very therapeutic. While you are running, you will not be able to think about anything else. Try it.

Note: Running on the treadmill does not count. It is good for heart patients who may not be strong enough to put in some Road Work(running outside). But if you are able bodied, get your butt outside and run. The treadmill is ok to warm up, but no machine is going to help you get fit.
